So I just had an interesting call with a group coming down to Panama for bachelor party the other day. They were asking me if I could shine some light on things that they have been hearing / rumors/ stuff they saw regarding new regulations in Panama cracking down on villas or party style mansions so making it not so desireable for the bachelor groups. I thought it would be worth clarifying it here. There are no new regulations or crackdowns in Panama to shutdown the party mansions or villas, but it might seem like that if you just go to Airbnb or Vrbo and just simply book a random spot and expect no consequences without verifying its a bachelor friendly spot or not. Panama is an amazing top tier destination, but you need to know where to go and how to do it right. Additionally, technically, in the city of Panama short-term rentals for less than 45 days are illegal unless the property owner has a hotelier or lodge license so if you book the wrong spot, make a scene and the cops show up, don't be surprised if you booked an illegal accommodation. Know before you go!
So instead of trying to wing it - plan ahead and guarantee a good time. Our team at YC in Panama has done the research and made the deals with the appropriate accommodations that are suitable and bachelor friendly. Take a look at a few of our available properties that we promote & work this below:
